Team Philippines bowed to South Korea, 37–45, in the Table of 16 and secured 9th place in the Senior Men’s Épée Team event of the 2025 Asian Fencing Championships held on June 21 in Bali, Indonesia.

Composed of Jian Miguel Bautista, Lee Eigran Ergina, and Noelito Jose, the national squad bettered their 10th-place finish from 2023 in Wuxi, China, with a sharper run in this year’s campaign.

The Filipino fencers will gear up for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok this December.
