The Global OTT Awards 2025 announced "When Life Gives You Tangerines” of Netflix as one of the nominees for this year's international awards ceremony celebrating excellence in TV, OTT, and digital content worldwide.
The show fell for the Best Creative Category, which honors titles that have captured global attention, alongside “Mad Unicorn” (Netflix), “Black m Warrant” (Netflix), “Northward” (iQIY), and “Our Unwritten Seoul” (tvN).
Yeom Hye-ran (IU) also got nominated for the Best Lead Actor (Female) for her great portray of character in When Life Gives You Tangerines, together with the director of the show, Won-seok Kim, for the Best Director Award and Im Sang-chun for the Best Writer Award.
The show gathered the attention of the panel judges and was nominated for four awards; Best Creative, Best Writer, Best Director, and Best Lead Actor (Female).
The Global OTT Awards, originally known as the ACA & Global OTT Awards in 2023 and 2024 Busan International Film Festival, will be held from August 22 to 25 at the Busan Cinema Center in Busan, South Korea.
