Palace urges execs not to spread fake news amid Bato sharing vexed post

Malacañang urged public officials to stop sharing of dis- and, misinformation online regarding to Senator 'Bato' Dela Rosa's Facebook shared post of an AI-generated video last Monday.

An AI-generated video that depicted student support for Vice President Duterte during her impeachment trial stirs controversy on social media.

Despite online criticism, Dela Rosa has yet to remove the AI video.

In the video, Dela Rosa praised "students" for understanding the real situation.

The Palace suggests that Dela Rosa acknowledge the video's AI origin, not necessarily to apologize.

Meanwhile, the palace further reiterates that government officials should take responsibility for posting information online.
